To carry out corporate transactions, the following documents are required:

Transaction Receipts and Legal Disclosures

Upon completion of any currency exchange transaction, our customers receive a digital purchase or sale receipt sent to the email address provided during the transaction.

In compliance with Colombian regulations, for any transaction exceeding USD $1,000 or its equivalent in other currencies, it is legally required to retain a copy of the identification document presented, as supporting documentation.

Additionally, please note that it is legal to bring or to carry foreign money to Colombia with amounts exceeding USD $10,000, or its equivalent in other currencies, as long as a proper declaration is made to the National Tax and Customs Authority (DIAN).

Customer Due Diligence

As part of our legal conditions, Interamerican Money is required to conduct due diligence procedures to identify and verify the identity of all customers and final users of foreign currency.

SARLAFT-FPADM Compliance

Interamerican Money is a legally established company in Colombia, supervised by the National Tax and Customs Authority – DIAN.
